K Professional Accountants (KPA) is proud to announce that our Managing Partner, Darith Khun, has been re-elected and reappointed as the President of the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) for the 7th mandate 2024-2028. His re-election and reappointment for a second term reflect the members and governing council’s confidence in his outstanding leadership, commitment and vision for Accounting and Auditing Profession.
Our warmest congratulations to Darith on his reappointment as KICPAA President and we are confident that under his diligent leadership and passion, accounting and auditing profession in Cambodia will be developing and growing to another level with international recognitions, necessary infrastructures and qualified people which enable the profession to prosper with full potential and aspiration.
Darith’s passion is to build people with competencies, disciplines and ethics and there is no doubt, there will be more initiatives, strategic priorities and strategies on human development to address the future technical and technological complexities to support the Growing Economy of Cambodia.
Darith has more than 20 years of professional experiences in accounting and audit profession, he has a wide range of experiences in commercial entities, state-owned enterprises and Not for Profit organisations. He has extensive regional and international experiences in Vietnam, Loas, Indonesia, Sudan, Ethiopia, the United States of America and Cambodia. At KPA, on top of corporate strategies and strategic direction roles, Darith provides oversight on audit and advisory strategies for audit and advisory engagements.
Darith is a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), an Active Member of ASEAN CPA and an Active Member of KICPAA (CPA – Cambodia). He is a member of National CPA working group.
